It doesn’t matter if all you can do right now is 30 seconds of movement with connection practice. If that’s what you can manage, then that’s exactly where you need to be – and you can build on it over time.

What truly matters is that you’re turning up and practising regularly.

Progression will happen gradually. How long it takes doesn’t matter. Keep your focus on the long term and imagine the gratitude your future self – your old lady body – will send to the current you for putting in this work.

You’ve just spent 15 minutes telling your core to switch on and working it hard. Now it’s a good idea to spend some time allowing your pelvic floor to relax with some stretches.
